How long have you been shooting on the street? 25 years.
What camera do you use? I use a Fujifilm X-T5, X-T3 and the Fujifilm X100VI.
What lens do you use? Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R – Fujifilm XF 23mm F2.0 R WR – Fujifilm XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR – Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 R and the Fujifilm XF 50mm F1.0 R WR.
Do you use analoog? No, but I love the old film colors and that is why I shoot with Fujifilm camera’s
Do you manipulate your photographs? I shoot in raw format and the only thing i change is the white balance, color, contrast. In Adobe Lightroom I use presets for my film look!
Who are your photographic influences? Garry Winogrand, Joel Meyerowitz, Robert Frank, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Martin Parr.
Did you learn photography at college? No, I am self-taught photographer.
What advice would you give to someone starting in street photography? Wear a good pair of walking shoes, have a camera around your neck and be optimistic, and most importent don’t forget to smile.
Do you run into any trouble taking photographs of strangers? Very rarely. I have learned to be quick and discreet photographing in public.
